If you choose to submit scores to test-optional TCL, plan to take your first SAT or ACT by the spring of junior year so you can use the summer before senior year and the fall for superscore-focused retakes. Since TCL does not offer Early Decision or Early Action, use its Regular Decision deadline as your cutoff; the December SAT or ACT is usually the last fall retake that can arrive in time, but confirm against TCL’s posted date.
