Because Galveston College is test-optional, use a testing timeline only if you choose to submit scores: take your first SAT or ACT by spring of junior year, then save the summer before senior year and the fall for retakes or superscoring opportunities. Galveston College does not offer Early Action or Early Decision, and the June 9 financial aid priority deadline should not drive SAT or ACT timing, so make sure any fall retake scores arrive before your application deadline.
